Primary Activities/Duties:
- Work with the Surface Treatment team to process unpainted work, rework, and special color parts through the finishing systems.
- Program and operate the automatic equipment used in automatic booths.
- Monitor the coating quality from the paint systems.
- Meet and exceed customer specifications.
- Clean and maintain all paint-related equipment and work areas.
- Operate and maintain all paint application and delivery equipment used in both the manual and automatic spray booths for the application of both standard and special color coatings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred, but not required.
- Moderate knowledge of powder paint equipment and powder paint applications required.
- E-Coat experience preferred.
- Stand in paint booth occasionally throughout work shift.
- Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift.
- Frequently walk up and down stairs or ladder.
- Grasp hand tools including paint application/delivery equipment.
- Frequently work overhead.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25–40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.
