We are seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our practice—a detail-oriented, empathetic professional who will ensure seamless patient experiences from referral to treatment.
What Will You Do?
As the Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for new patients, guiding them through scheduling, insurance verification, and pre-visit preparation. Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling & Registration:
- Manage new patient referrals and appointments via phone, email, and EHR systems.
- Verify insurance benefits and ensure financial clearance prior to visits.
- Educate patients on required paperwork (intake forms, consents, etc.).
- Patient Support & Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and referring physicians.
- Administrative Coordination:
- Process referrals, orders, and authorizations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records in electronic health systems.
- Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to prevent delays.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Uphold a welcoming, organized front-office environment.
- Continuously seek ways to improve patient intake processes.
