What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ship Loose Coordinator position at Ritz-Craft Corporation Management?
Primary Responsibilities
- Calculate ship loose reports with department worksheets in excel and make sure they are distributed timely, before homes are started in production.
- Learn and continue to monitor what materials are installed and what are shipped loose. This requires knowing the production line and all materials used.
- This person will work hand in hand with all production departments that have to coordinate with ship loose: Specially, but not limited to flooring, siding, roofing, trim and cabinet shop.
- Conduct walk through audits of loaded homes and audit load lists and document load with taking photographs.
- Conduct BOM's (Bill of Materials). This is an accounting of all the parts that are used to build a house, and this goes hand in hand with the trained knowledge for calculating ship loose. These will be scheduled by purchasing and conducted regularly.
- Will assist and grow into other parts/inventory type tasks as knowledge grows. This person will participate in our inventory process that happens twice a year.
- Generate final production shortages.
- Write up shippers and manage shipper process with receiving and parts manager/purchasing.
- Generate weekly report that summarizes that status of ship lose opportunities and current status of where ship loose loading stands.
- Coordinate choosing frames for production offline and updating information on the yard schedule.
