Quality Administrator

Ritz Instrument Transformers, an industry leader in instrument transformers, cast-coil power transformers, and solid-insulated bus systems, has an opening on first shift for a Quality Administrator reporting to the Quality Operations Manager.

Position responsibilities include:

SUMMARY

The Quality Administrator has to demonstrate excellent understanding of office applications such as word processing and spreadsheet software to run calculations and make detailed reports. Duties include executing new and revised company procedures as needed, inspecting products for defects at various stages of production, participating in internal audits, and following up on responsibilities. The Quality Administrator reviews procedures and suggest ideas to increase productivity with less company resources.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintains employee training database

2. Initiates quality training for newly hired staff

3. Administration of the controlled document system

4. Dispositions nonconforming material during weekly scrap review

5. Develops weekly quality presentation

6. Conducts internal quality audits

7. Participates in third party quality audits

8. Maintains calibration system

9. Participates in corrective actions

10. Assist with incoming inspections

11. Support with supplier issues / evaluations

12. Evaluates operational data for system improvements & cost savings

13. Assist with customer quality issues as needed

3. Proven knowledge of excellent spread sheet skills

9. Knowledge of internal quality process and quality standards

10. Good organizational skills

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
