Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Project Manager to lead digital initiatives and optimize the customer experience on our e-commerce platform. This role will serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and end users, ensuring seamless coordination across IT, marketing, sales, and customer support. The ideal candidate has a background in e-commerce project management, excels at timeline management, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Manage projects between end users and internal teams, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and on schedule.
- Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Work with marketing on website graphics and front-end development.
- Coordinate with IT on backend development, site upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Partner with sales to schedule pre-calls and customer meetings.
- Customer Engagement & Support:
- Lead end-user demos to ensure customers understand how to navigate the platform.
- Maintain the e-commerce site by updating new users, requested items, and other modifications.
- Perform periodic site audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Innovation & Problem-Solving:
- Bring innovative ideas to improve the customer experience online.
- Work with IT to troubleshoot support tickets, identify root causes, and drive solutions.
- Deadline & Process Management: Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high-quality standards and improving user experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2 years in project management, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience working cross-functionally with IT, marketing, and sales teams.
- Skills:
- Strong project management and coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Technical Exposure (No Prior Experience Required):
- Magento, ASP.NET, Catsy, Epicor P21, Asana.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Director of IT.
