Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled individual to join our Production team.

A reliable and detail-oriented Heat Press Operator / Production Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering excellent products. You will be responsible for operating heat press machines, manual printing machines, maintaining equipment, and / or assisting with various production tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards. Skills:

• Color theory
• Proficiency in screen printing techniques and processes
• Previous experience operating heat press machines or working in a production Environment
• Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working experience
• High school or GED equivalent (Preferred)

Requirements:

• Experience with screen printing and operation of manual style machines
• Proven experience in screen printing and machine setup
• Strong understanding of various screen-printing techniques and inks
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail orientated
• Extremely organized
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate heat press machines.
• Set up and operate screen printing equipment
• Set up and prepare screen printing machines for production runs
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or errors and make necessary corrections
• Maintain and clean heat press equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete orders according to production schedules
• Will reclaim, stretch, coat and burn all screens needed to complete each design needed for production or samples
• Communicate any issues, concerns, or suggestions for process improvement to supervisors.
• Ensure the quality coming off the production line matches the quality of an approved sample.
• Ensure accurate alignment (registration) of screens for multi-color prints
• Prepare screens by coating them with emulsion and exposing them to UV light
• Mix and prepare inks according to color specifications
• Load materials onto the printing press and align them correctly
• Print designs onto various materials, such as clothing, accessories, and promotional items
• Ensure accurate color matching and registration of prints
• Monitor print quality throughout the production process and adjust as needed
• Clean and maintain screens, equipment, and work area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
