Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Lead to oversee daily maintenance operations for our facilities. This role requires hands-on experience with building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. The Maintenance Lead will provide leadership, support, and guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards. Emergency on-call availability is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Lead Maintenance Team:
- Provide training, guidance, and troubleshooting support to team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for team inquiries and issues.
- Perform Routine and Preventative Maintenance:
- Oversee and participate in inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate work order records for all tasks performed.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to assess complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Unit Walks and Inspections:
- Conduct unit inspections to ensure facilities are in top condition for guest check-ins.
- Report any concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor for follow-up and resolution.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure safe work practices are followed, including proper tool usage, chemical handling, and adherence to industry standards.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Appfolio Software Usage:
- Utilize Appfolio software to track work orders, update completed tasks, and monitor inventory needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates within the system.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Associate’s Degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Experience in Maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Appfolio) is a plus.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

- Comfortable working in varied environments, including confined spaces, heat, dust, and noise.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience, $60,000.00 - $70,000.00.
