Maintenance and Renovation Technicians Needed

Join the team at Riva Ridge Real Estate Services as a Maintenance or Renovation Technician! Our technicians play a vital role in maintaining, repairing, and renovating residential and commercial properties. We’re looking for hands-on individuals who are detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality workmanship. Ideal candidates will have a broad range of skills, including general construction, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

1. Renovation Projects:

• Assist with demolition, construction, and finishing tasks for renovation projects.
• Follow plans and instructions from the renovation team lead or supervisor.

2. Maintenance and Repairs:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure properties remain in excellent condition.

3. Carpentry and Construction:

• Assist in framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing.
• Install flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures as required.
• Support both minor and major construction tasks during renovations.

4. Plumbing and Electrical Work:

• Install and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and water heaters.
• Complete basic electrical tasks, such as installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.

5. General Labor:

• Load and unload materials and tools as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.

6. Safety Compliance:

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

• High school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in maintenance or related fields (preferred but not required).Basic knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong communication skills for working with residents, colleagues, and management.
• Customer service-oriented mindset for addressing resident needs professionally.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with property managers and other team members.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations, handle emergencies, and work in various weather conditions.
