Position: Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) - Clinic
Location: Chico, CA (Onsite)

Job Description:
The Cardiac Sonographer performs quality echocardiographic studies as ordered by the physicians as well as the performance of all other non-invasive cardiac procedures within the Cardiac Diagnostics Department.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
- Satisfactory completion of a recognized course of study in echocardiography to include all aspects of the basic echo study with certification
- Satisfactory completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
Desired:
- Two years’ experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Experience in other aspects of non-invasive testing to include CVT skill set
- Vascular Ultrasound experience
- Paediatric Cardiovascular experience
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Stenographers (ARDMS) or CCI as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Employees who were classified as Cardiac Sonographer prior to January 2018 who were not registered at that time will be grandfathered in without this requirement.)
- Current CPR recognition
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
- Must have the ability to perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies and possess excellent organizational skills to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize daily assignments of the job.
- Must have working knowledge of other departmental procedures and equipment.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Must demonstrate basic computer skills to perform data entry.
- Must be able to fulfil the essential functions of the position.

- This is a full time (40 hours per week) position that will have 8 hour shifts lengths and is a day shift schedule. Weekends are rotated between techs.

Pay: $62.00 - $70.00 per hour
