Position Overview:
We are seeking a Folder Gluer Operator to join a dynamic team in the food packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with folding cartons, and the ability to work efficiently while ensuring high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and adjust gluer machine to produce printed packaging material in accordance with customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and monitor the operation of the machine, making necessary adjustments for quality control.
- Ensure quality by reviewing jobs for accuracy and meeting customer expectations.
- Supervise technicians working on equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, PPE usage, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
- Support leadership by motivating the team, providing training, and achieving quality and productivity goals.
Requirements:
- High School diploma (or GED).
- Minimum of 3 years of Folder/Gluer equipment operation experience in the food packaging industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, and manual dexterity required.
- Frequent lifting in excess of 30 lbs.
- Ability to work extended hours and rotating shifts as needed.
