About the Role:
Our direct client is seeking a Senior Live Production Manager to join our dynamic team at the Smart Chicken facility in Waverly, NE. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader with broiler and breeder experience to oversee all Live Production team members and contract growers. You will report directly to the Complex Manager, contributing to expanding production and operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Live Production team and contract growers.
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of all broiler and breeder production processes.
- Oversee the daily operations and management of the production team, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to optimize production and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Proven experience with broiler and breeder production.
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting.
- Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Preferred:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
