SKYDINE at the airport is hiring for a morning cook/prep position. The typical hours are either 3am-11am or 3am-1pm, we offer full time hours in a 4- or 5-day work week. Skydine also offer HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION, and various other discounts for fulltime employees, eligible on day one of employment.
Starting wage is $18/hr plus cash tips daily!!

Duties
- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per recipes.
- Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during meal periods.
- Support the Dietary department in preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.
- Follow all food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality standards are upheld.
Experience
- Previous experience as a breakfast cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
- Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.
