Private Equity Portfolio Manager
Role Overview :
We're seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee our growing portfolio of pharmaceuticals, energy, and battery assets. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining our analytics infrastructure while providing critical insights into asset performance and trends. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on analysis to ensure optimal performance across our entire asset portfolio.
Your primary focus will be developing comprehensive reporting systems to track our portfolio performance for our project investors. When anomalies arise, you'll conduct thorough analysis to understand root causes and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders. You'll need to anticipate investor questions and have answers ready before they're asked. Youll work directly with operations, finance, and technology teams to build the tools needed for deep insight, while providing guidance based on your analysis and observations on the portfolio. Youll work directly with finance partners and investors on their reporting needs while building a trusting relationship.
Success in this role means maintaining a deep understanding of our portfolio performance and investor needs, while building scalable processes to support our rapid growth. You'll work closely with finance, operations, and technology teams to ensure our analytics infrastructure evolves with our expanding asset base.
Key Responsibilities :
The Portfolio Manager exercises governance and execution of all programs and projects across to promote operational excellence and business growth. S / He will be responsible for the overall health of the portfolio and, in doing so, provides expertise and leadership to ensure all projects remain on scope, on budget, and on schedule.
- Seasoned professional with proven experience in asset or portfolio management, particularly in pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, and infrastructure
- Data-driven analyst who can build and maintain robust analytics infrastructure while delivering actionable insights
- Strategic thinker who proactively identifies revenue trends, investigates anomalies, and prepares thorough analysis before escalation
- Results-oriented manager who can balance day-to-day operations with long-term strategic initiatives
- Responsible for ensuring the portfolio's component projects and programs are delivered within scope, according to deadlines, within budget, and adhere to quality standards set forth by leadership. This includes reporting on progress, health, risk (and remediation plans).
- Develop project charters, build project work breakdown structures and schedules, develop detailed project organization charts and role / responsibility descriptions, perform meeting management, communicate progress / status and health, enforce quality management, and manage risks, issues, decisions, action items, dependencies, and changes.
- Strong project financial management abilities (funding requests, forecasting, spend management), sharp attention to detail, and respect and appreciation for project documentation by ensuring project documentation.
- Skilled communicator who can effectively present complex financial information to investors and stakeholders.
