Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled machine builder to join our team who will be responsible for assembling custom water processing, wash water, and environmentally responsible wash water containment systems used in commercial, industrial, and governmental applications.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various building techniques with prior plumbing, electrical, or mechanical experience preferred. Prior experience leading teams is a plus. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, the ability to work both individually and as part of a team, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret from Drawboard blueprints with instructions
- Inspect parts for quality during assembly to ensure parts were manufactured in accordance with work order specifications ensuring no rework is needed
- Operate a forklift as necessary to facilitate part and equipment transfer
- Observe safety rules to include using PPE, safety data sheets, and equipment properly
- Ensure work area is kept clean
- Ensure department inventory is maintained in an orderly fashion and kept ready for use
- Test assembled systems for functionality to include inspecting for leaks and checking pressure/flow rate
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- One year of prior experience in a manufacturing work setting is preferred
- Plumbing, electrical, or mechanical experience is preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Licensing/certification: forklift operator

Physical Demands
- This position requires the ability to frequently lift with arms and hands, as well as to stand, twist, bend, walk, and sit
- This position requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and, on occasion, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance
- This vision abilities required by this position include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment
- Work may be performed in booths where PPE is required
- Noise level is moderate to loud
