We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team on construction sites. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, dump trucks, water trucks, skid steer and mini excavators on construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities effectively.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Utilize machinery for various construction tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in a construction environment is preferred.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating bulldozers, dump trucks, water trucks, and other heavy machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
