Position Overview:
As a Landscape Supply Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and building lasting relationships with our customers. You will assist both residential and commercial clients with selecting the best products for their landscaping needs, ranging from soil, mulch, and stone to fertilizers, tools, and more. Your goal is to ensure that every customer has a positive experience and leaves with the right products for their projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Provide expert advice to customers on landscape materials, including soil, stone, mulch, fertilizers, and tools.
- Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate products based on their specific requirements.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Assist with inventory management and product displays.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest landscaping trends, products, and industry innovations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment for customers.
- Attend trade shows and networking events as needed to promote the company’s products and services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably within the landscape, construction, or retail industries.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping products and materials is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse customer base.
- Results-oriented with a passion for meeting sales goals.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic sales software.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
