What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Educator position at Rivendell Interstate School District?
Rivendell Interstate School District is seeking an energetic, organized and highly collaborative NH licensed special educator, K-12. The special education teacher will provide specially designed instruction and case management services for disabled students placed in an alternative program for students experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current NH license with an endorsement in special education; current knowledge of special education and related laws
- Ability to independently plan and provide lessons designed to address specific IEP goals and objectives for students to enable them to make academic, social, emotional, and behavioral progress.
- Complete all case management duties.
- Sense of humor
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Open to non-traditional educational approach
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
