We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students, particularly those with diverse needs. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide support in classroom management, promoting positive behavior and engagement among students.
- Work closely with children with disabilities, adapting materials and approaches to facilitate learning.
- Support literacy education by helping students with reading and writing tasks.
- Assist with math instruction, reinforcing concepts through hands-on activities and individualized support.
- Engage in early childhood education practices, focusing on developmental milestones for preschool and toddler-aged children.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual student performance.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support positive classroom dynamics.
- Background in literacy education, math instruction, or related fields will be advantageous.
- A passion for working with young children and contributing to their growth and development is essential.
