What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at River Bend Casino & Hotel?
Job Summary: This position assists in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns including direct mail, broadcast media, print, outdoor, entertainment, promotions, and other relevant marketing functions. In conjunction with the marketing team, track and analyze customer data to determine the results of campaigns, promotions, and events. Present and cultivate a positive image at the casino and in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and execute Players Club functions, promotions, direct mail campaigns, and other related special events; can relay the details to the casino and patrons.
- Assist with promotions, special events, entertainment, direct mail campaigns, budget, and execute relevant tactics.
- Assist in the development, management, and resource coordination of all promotions, programs and special events.
- Communicate, implement and assist in the execution of promotional programs; track and evaluate special events and promotions.
- Understand and promote the rewards and benefits of the Players Club functions, promotions, and other related special events; can relay the details to employees and patrons.
- Assist in the overall execution of marketing strategic plans, tactics and campaigns.
- Assist in the production of print, broadcast media (TV and radio), outdoor, social media, digital media, and other media tactics and deployment.
- Assist in evaluation and management of the KCMS/Synkros System to execute create promotional incentives, mail lists, offers, comps, etc.
- Promote and provide superior internal and external guest service.
- Develop and coordinate standard and/or custom reports as required.
- Assist in monitoring and researching performance and provide feedback on effectiveness of direct mail campaigns, player programs, on and off property promotions, and all media (broadcast, print, social, digital, outdoor, etc.). Discover elements that include incremental/decrement impact, trends, potential increase for spend and improved performance opportunities.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Educational/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or in a related field. Casino/marketing experience is preferred.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Wyandotte Nation Gaming License.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demands.
- Must excel at customer service.
- Basic computer skills required: Internet Explorer, Microsoft office (Power Point, Word, Excel), Publisher, Adobe Photoshop and Firework experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with co-workers, management, and guests.
- Must have a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress environment.
- Maintains an even temper, is friendly and positive with others, demonstrates good judgment, and treats others with respect and dignity.
- Must be able to push and lift weight up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work in areas containing high noise levels, secondary smoke, and blinking lights.
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members to be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. A typical work week and normal work schedule may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
