What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Host position at River Bend Casino & Hotel?
1. Greets the customers, escorts to dinning table according to rotation procedures, distributes menus, explains specials etc. and maintains a wait list if necessary.
2. Professionally answers phone, makes reservations, returns phone messages, and answers questions about venues and promotions.
3. Assists food servers and bussers with any necessary tasks when busy, including clearing tables and running food.
4. Handles unexpected situations with guests professionally and courteously, finding solutions that ensure customer satisfaction with minimal financial impact on F&B operation.
5. Teams with Kitchen Staff, EVS, Casino Host and Marketing.
6. Communicates effectively with all Casino coworkers, management and guests.
7. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members to be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedule may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
