Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Golf Shop Assistant. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks at the golf course. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service in the golf industry.
Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Answer phones for tee times and other customer questions
- Assist customers with their purchases, including processing transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Park golf carts
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
Experience:
- Must have experience in the golf industry or general golf knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic retail math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Previous experience with ForeUp or similar tee time management system preferred
