Job description
River Bend Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an HR/Payroll Coordinator for a busy healthcare facility in Asheville, NC. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday (Flexible Hours). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and payroll, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment.
Key HR Responsibilities:
- Handle hiring processes, including new hire orientation, background checks and electronic onboarding through payroll software.
- Maintain employee records and manage benefits for new hires
- Complete all necessary forms for rate increases, bonuses, terminations, status changes, etc.
Key Payroll Responsibilities:
- Manage time keeping system including adding new hires to the time clock, adjustments/corrections to punches, adding bonuses & PTO
- Enroll all new hires into payroll system while verifying I-9 Forms & identification is accurate
- Review the payroll register for accuracy before the final process
Skills/Abilities:
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Experience with Proliant Payroll Software and Hosted Time Attendance systems a plus, but not required.
Proficient with Microsoft E-mail, Word, and Excel
Salary - $40K - $45K depending on experience
