Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, develop, and oversee the operations of the Nursing Services Department.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff, and monitoring results.
- Foster a positive work environment by supporting patients, families, and staff.
- Serve as a resource to patients and the healthcare team by addressing questions and requests promptly.
- Communicate significant changes in residents' conditions to the physician, family, or responsible party.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of one year of nurse leadership experience in a long-term care setting (e.g., ADON or DON).
