River Branch Community School is seeking a passionate, creative, nature loving enthusiast to cover an eight week maternity leave beginning in February. This position could become permanent if the fit feels right at the end of the eight weeks.

Duties
RBCS strives to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment where children are free to take risks, to wonder and to form meaningful relationships with peers, educators and the natural environment. Our interactions with children are based on the belief that all young children are competent, intelligent and inquisitive beings. Through play and hands-on investigations, we guide each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Requirements
The ideal candidates will have a love of nature, a growth mindset and some experience working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are excited to support those who are new to the field in finding their place, expanding their own education and forming career goals.

RBCS is open Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Our educators receive a daily 45 minute lunch break as well as weekly planning time and team meetings within operating hours.
