Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Duties
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory and ensure order accuracy.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Proficient in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (certification preferred).
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items throughout the shift. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus but not required.
