Job Description:
River City Security is hiring a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer for a full-time first-shift position. This role offers a consistent 40-hour work week and requires availability on Sundays and select weekdays. The ideal candidate will be observant, punctual, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a secure presence while patrolling assigned areas
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report incidents promptly
- Enforce property rules and follow post orders
- Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch, and supervisors
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately
Requirements:
- Must currently hold a valid Tennessee Armed Guard License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and a working phone required
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
- Must be available for first shift hours, including Sundays and weekdays
