River Crest Country Club is actively hiring Snack Bar Attendants for the 2025 summer season.
Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth's oldest and most storied country club.
The pay for this position is a combination of an hourly rate ($9.50 - $11 based on verifiable experience) plus 15% Service Charge.
JOB SUMMARY
The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all Members food and beverage needs are satisfied while utilizing the snack bar services. The ideal candidate will have previous food and beverage service experience, a strong work ethic, and a positive disposition. We will provide all training necessary to new attendants.
QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

- Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
- Must present a neat and clean personal appearance.
- Must have timely, reliable attendance.
- Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward Members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.
- Education Required: Food Handlers Certification; (within 30-days of hire; will provide)
Knowledge/Skills/Language Required:
- English language skills. Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with Members, guests, supervisors and co-workers
- Active Listening - Giving full attention to what Members/guests are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate
- Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help Members/guests
- Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of Members/guests reactions
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS
- Set up drink stations and maintain supplies
- Provide immediate attention to all Members and guests upon arriving at service window
- Answer menu questions
- Present specials and suggesting menu items
- Take orders and put in POS computer system in a timely manner
- Serve food using proper service techniques
- Present bill
- Handle all charge tickets
- Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur
- Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by Manager
- Reports to the supervisor to receive instructions of any special duties or events
- Completes opening and closing duties as assigned by supervisor
- Completes all service duties in accordance with the guidelines for high standards of service set forth by RCCC
- Greets Members and their guests by last name whenever possible
- Ensures that Members and their guests receive immediate attention and service upon arrival
- Observes all club policies in dealing with Members and non-Members in club usage
- Informs supervisor of any complaints or problems that occur throughout the shift
- Ensures that all established service procedures and standards are adhered to and performed with the emphasis on giving superior service to the Members
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
- Use of hands and arms to handle, position, move materials, and manipulate things
- Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to perform duties during hot and inclement weather
