Lead Toddler Teacher

Easton | Full Time | Monday-Friday | $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

What is needed for this job

  • Minimum of a CDA required
  • Associate / Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
  • Are 21 and have 2 years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
  • Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
  • Ability to pass all relevant clearances

    • The responsibilities we will trust you with :

  • Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
  • Being patient and kind with our parents
  • Designing age appropriate lesson plans and activities
  • Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
  • Maintaining required program records, including child files and portfolios
  • Adjusting curriculum to ensure that all children meet the learning objectives
  • Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
