Senior Accountant

Full Time | $65,000 - $75,000

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can help support our finance team in facilitating our vision of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all.

What is needed for this job

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

1 years of experience in finance, accounting, finance related experience, preferably with a nonprofit agency

Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

Ability to self-regulate leadership in financial reporting and analysis projects

Excellent PC skills including Excel and Accounting software programs

The responsibilities we will trust you with :

Supports the CFO and Controllers with reporting and presentation needs

Assists with financial data reporting, budget preparation and financial planning processes

Reconciles balance sheet accounts and monitors bank transactions daily

Follows up on outstanding items with account balances and monthly accruals

Interacts directly with forecasting and budgeting needs

Fields various request for analysis of programs, accounts, and projects as needed

Understands, prepares, and can apply journal entries

Assists with preparing journal entries for deferred revenue as needed

Cross-trainings for other positions as requested
