We are looking for a dedicated community member to serve as our Operations Program Specialist. As an Operations Program Specialist, you will help to manage our Warming Station and Camp programs.

What is needed to be our Operations Program Specialist:
- 18 years of age
- College (preferred)
- 1 years of experience in pool management/administration (preferred)
- 1 years of swim lesson experience (preferred)
- American Red Cross Certification for Lifeguarding
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Operations Program Specialist:
- Day to day management of the Warming Center program (winter) and management of camp programs (summer)
- Provides direct supervision to Warming Center team members
- Assures program compliance with all policies and procedures
- Assumes responsibility for recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation and discipline of staff
- Assists in the preparation of short and long-range plans and budgeting as appropriate
- On call for emergencies before and after “typical” work hours. Overnights, weekends, holidays
- Directs and supervises camp activities to meet the needs of the community and fulfill YMCA objectives
- Creates and schedules all camp sessions and activities
- Monitors daily camp operations to adhere to all state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations
