Substitute Assistant Teacher Salary: $15.50 - 17.00 per hour
Substitute Assistant Teacher Hours: Monday - Friday, flexible hours between 7am - 6pm
Substitute Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
- Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
- Leading age appropriate activities
- Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
Substitute Assistant Teacher Qualifications:
- Have 2 years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc)
- High school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
