What are the responsibilities and job description for the D111 - DD Crisis - Individual Support Worker position at River Edge Behavioral Health?
As a Crisis Service Worker, you will provide services to adults who experience a behavioral crisis in a community setting. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, River Edge provides individualized crisis de-escalation interventions in out of home support setting.
Shifts offered are as follows:
Monday-Friday 7a3p OR 3p-11p OR Friday/Saturday/Sunday 9p9a
What you will do in this role:
Monitor general client activity to observe and report behavior/progress and when necessary, intervene in problem situations using established Mindset procedures.
Provide training and or direction to clients in a variety of areas depending on client needs.
Complete required documentation in client/unit records as assigned.
Participate in providing a clean, safe, and attractive environment for clients, visitors, and staff.
Assist with the Client Admission and Discharge process.
Orient new clients to the facility as directed by the charge nurse.
Attending required meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities as required (at least 17 hours per year) Must stay current in CPI, CPR and First Aid.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least a high school diploma/GED equivalent
Must have a valid state driver's license.
Acceptable Driving record
Acceptable background check
Must pass the drug screen.
Acceptable references
Ability to pass basic CPR and 1st AID.
