The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, or developmental disabilities.
River Edge is seeking several counselors and a team leads clinicians to offer services within local schools via the Georgia APEX Program.

Location/Schedule: Based out of our offices located at 175 Emery Hwy, Macon GA 31217 but providing services in various locations in local schools; Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing individual and family therapy both in and out of the clinic to youth (and family) primarily in schools with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
- Complete assessments, treatment planning, and authorizations for services to be provided.
Minimum Training & Experience:
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage & family counseling, or rehab counseling, and eligibility to be licensed (LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, or LMFT) AND Two years of supervised experience in social services delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Full clinical license preferred. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
- Must have a clean driving record and be willing to use your personal vehicle to travel to schools within the surrounding counties.
