Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.
River Edge is currently seeking a Full-time Health Service Technician for our Crisis Services. In this role, the technician provides direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, fostering positive relationships and ensuring client safety. Responsibilities include facilitating self-help activities, reporting changes in clients' conditions, documenting services provided, and assisting with meal planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and other assigned duties.
Schedule: 4pm-12 Midnight - work 5 days per week with rotating weekends- off one day per week.
FLSA Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt

- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year experience working with behavioral health clients (mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities).
- Must be computer literate.
