Seeking a Business Analyst supporting the DHS CISA Strategy, Policy and Plans (SPP) Program Management and Process Support. Within CISA, the Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans (SPP) promotes integration of policy and strategy across all CISA's mission areas. SPP is responsible for advancing new ideas in carrying out the organization’s mission to reduce cyber and physical risks to critical infrastructure, including development of Agency level policies and directives, guiding organizational performance, and leading strategic planning efforts for the Agency. SPP also engages and supports DHS and federal interagency policy and strategic planning initiatives.
Position requires an active Top Secret / SCI. Must be willing and able to obtain DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) Suitability within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are a plus.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to understand and document business requirements.
Responsibilities :
Support the development, integration and coordination of business processes and management tools for the oversight of the development, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and assessment of CISA strategies, supporting plans and priority initiatives.
Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Gather and document business requirements.
Develop and implement business solutions.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders Provide strategy and logistics support for the CISA Technology Council to identify, communicate, and integrate, as appropriate, emerging technologies and enterprise data management improvements.
Maintain the CISA Enterprise Conceptual Data Model (ECDM), the DHS / CISA Technology Reference Model (TRM), and other CISA IT governance artifacts.
Develop and implement data collection techniques.
