We are hiring for an assistant position to assist the Maintenance Director. Looking for qualified individual with plumbing, electrical, and some construction exp preferred. This is a seasonal position, with hours up to 20 a week. These hours may include weekends and the possibilaty to be on call for the weekend.
Maintenance Assistant
Job Description:
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance (Minor and Major) of facility equipment and building.
- Painting, Dry Wall, Moving Furniture, Light Electrical, Light Plumbing etc.
- Assist in preventative maintenance program and logging maintenance for tracking.
- Follow all safety protection programs as it pertains to long-term care, knowledge of MSDS manual, OSHA reporting and attend in-services.
- Work closely with vendors and other departments to provide services and ensure set up for events.
- Daily work orders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong moral character
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
