We are searching for a reliable, trustworthy Full-time Safety Supervisor/Manager to join our team. The Safety Supervisor/Manager is responsible for the day-to-day security operations, including managing the staff, scheduling, training, hiring, and administrative duties as part of the management staff.
To be successful as a Mall Safety Supervisor/Manager, you should be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time and able to react appropriately in stressful conditions and possess excellent customer service skills.
Mall Safety Supervisor/Manager Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day security operations, enforcing the code of conduct
- Manage a team of safety officers, including hiring/selection, scheduling and training.
- Foot & Vehicle Patrolling and monitoring premises to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Keeping calm when alarms are triggered and escorting people to safety.
- Responding to calls for help and contacting the fire department, law enforcement or medical if required.
- Assisting during emergencies, ensuring minimal injury to people and damage to property.
- Removing anyone who is not following mall code of conduct.
- Wearing security uniforms for high visibility.
- Following orders and working as part of a team to ensure the safety of mall employees and customers.
- Writing up daily reports.
- Undertaking all tasks with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
Mall Safety Supervisor/Manager Requirements:
- Previous security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience.
- At least 2 years of business management/operations/supervisory experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations
- AED/ CPR certification is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
