Position Summary:
The Ticketing & Sales Intern will assist the sales department in various aspects of ticket sales, customer service, and fan engagement for River Light FC. This role provides hands-on experience in sports sales, customer relationship management, and ticketing operations while offering opportunities to develop key skills in marketing and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ticket Sales Support: Assist with group sales, single-game tickets, season tickets, and premium seating options. Provide support to the sales team by helping manage customer databases, making outbound calls, and promoting ticket packages.
- Customer Service: Handle inquiries from fans regarding ticket availability, pricing, and seating arrangements. Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and in-person communication.
- Ticket Fulfillment: Help with the processing and distribution of tickets for various events, including home games and special events. Assist with maintaining accurate records of sales and transactions.
- Game Day Operations: Support ticketing operations on game days, including will-call management, ticket scanning, and resolving any issues that arise at the box office. Ensure fans have a smooth and enjoyable experience entering the venue.
- Fan Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance fan engagement by promoting ticket offers, group experiences, and special promotions. Assist in organizing fan loyalty programs or exclusive offers for season ticket holders.
- Group Sales Assistance: Work with the group sales team to identify new prospects, organize group outings (corporate, youth teams, etc.), and assist in coordinating group events on game days.
- Market Research: Conduct research on potential customer segments and local businesses that could benefit from group sales or corporate partnerships. Assist in developing strategies to reach these segments.
- Reporting & Analytics: Assist in compiling sales reports, tracking ticketing data, and analyzing sales trends to help inform future strategies.
- Promotional Initiatives: Work with the sales team to execute promotional ticket offers, special deals, and other campaigns to increase ticket revenue.
- Database Management: Help maintain and update the ticketing and sales database to ensure accurate contact information, sales tracking, and lead generation.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and game days as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls and interacting with potential customers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A passion for sports and a desire to work in ticket sales or sports marketing.
