River Market Community Co-op is hiring a Seasonal Part Time Produce Clerk!
Experience-based pay ranging from: $17.50 - $18.75 per hour
Must have availability to work on Saturdays!
This position is part time and seasonal. We are seeking candidates who are looking for 20-25 hours/week and are available to work from mid-April to mid-August.
Work for a community-owned grocery store in downtown Stillwater and help support a sustainable local food system. Reports to: Produce Manager
- Maintain attractive, fully stocked, rotated and faced sections
- Answer customer questions
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards
- Greet and assist customers with placing and picking up orders.
- Performs basic arithmetic including counting, addition and subtraction
- Able to remain on feet for long periods of time
- Must have weekend availability
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must be physically able to occasionally grasp, grip, pull, push, twist, and turn as needed.
Constant (67-100%): Walking, standing, lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds floor to waist, talking, hearing, correctable vision including near acuity and depth perception
Frequent (34-66%): Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, lifting/reaching waist to shoulder, lifting/reaching above the shoulder
Occasional (1-33%): Working in refrigeration, pushing, pulling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds floor to waist, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance floor to waist
Approximately 5% of the time: Administrative duties & sitting
Salary : $18 - $19
