River Montessori Charter School is hiring!
River Montessori Charter School is in search of exceptional individuals to assist with our before- and after-school camp, "Club Montessori." A day with us includes guiding children through curated arts and crafts projects, culinary experiences, and outdoor adventures, all while fostering social connections among peers. As a Montessori institution, we champion exploration, creativity, community, growth, and autonomy.
The ideal candidate must be a consistent, dependable employee with a passion for working with children; possessing positive communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with our whole community. After School Staff constantly move about in the classroom and on the playground; constantly positioning self to be at eye level with students. High school diploma and proven experience working with children is required.
Primary responsibilities include:
Supervising children.
Preparing after school snacks.
Ability to oversee and implement games, crafts under the direction of the Club Montessori Lead.
Preparing children for transition from school to home.
Ensure safety by monitoring After school camp space and supervising students at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom with attention to tidiness and appearance standards.
School Breaks & Non-School Days
Camp runs year-round to support our families during school breaks, holidays, and teacher development days, with modified hours that may include full-days.
