Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the leasing process, from marketing and advertising to tenant screening and lease negotiations
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants
- Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure efficient operations and tenant satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant information
- Prepare lease agreements and related documents in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit refunds
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, rental rates, and competitor offerings to make informed recommendations

Experience:
- Proven experience in property leasing or a related field
- Strong knowledge of leasing principles, practices, and legal requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants, colleagues, and vendors
- Ability to effectively market properties and upsell additional services or amenities
- Experience with administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and data entry
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus
- Knowledge of property maintenance processes and familiarity with CMMS software is preferred
