Can you provide our Members with a distinctive drinking experience? River Oaks Country Club is looking for a Bartender to provide our Members with a distinctive drinking experience. This is an evening shift job. The ability to work weekends and holidays is critical.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests; Prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverage in a pleasant, professional and friendly manner
- Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Restock as required
- Scratch off TABC stickers from empty bottles and turn in a liquor requisition each shift
- Follow set-up procedures; Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
- Assists with bar and beverage set up in all areas of the Club
- Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager
- Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment
- Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times; Request additional supplies as necessary
- Maintain daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand
- Clean and lock-up according to prescribed procedures
- Occasionally take and serve food orders
- Report intoxicated members/guests and children asking for alcoholic beverages to supervisor
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience bartending in an up-scale restaurant, hotel or private club
- TABC Certified
- Ability to push, pull or lift at least 50 lbs.
