Maintenance Director

Location: 500 E University Drive, Rochester, MI, 48307

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations at our facility. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. This includes developing and implementing maintenance procedures, managing a team of maintenance staff, and coordinating with outside contractors as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the facility
• Manage a team of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized maintenance projects
• Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, systems, and structures
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in maintenance management
• Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with outside contractors
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
