River Park Hospital/Barboursville School, a 165-bed facility and a leader in behavioral health care, located in Barboursville, WV has an opening for a Clinical Supervisor River Park provides acute inpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors and features a 22-bed residential treatment program for children, adolescents, and a 25-bed adult forensic unit. In conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for the clinical oversight of Barboursville School including admission planning, treatment planning and discharge planning. Tasks to include providing case management services for the residents, onboarding new therapy and rec therapy staff, providing clinical supervision, coordinating and running treatment team meetings, providing direct clinical services as required, providing in house trainings, and representing River Park Hospital in meetings as required.
Essential Core Functions:
Supervision of staff, including evaluations, performance management
New employee orientation and on-going training of clinical staff
Assisting with compliance observations and reporting
Represent RPH on external committees and initiatives as assigned
Represent RPH through marketing activities
Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives
Provide clinical services to include case management, assessment, group and individual therapy as assigned
Job Specifications:
1. Education, Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience
2. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling
3. Professional license in State of WV in applicable field (LICSW, LCSW, LGSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist)
4. Minimum three (3) years working within the medical/behavioral health setting.
5. Minimum one (1) year in supervisory role is preferred.

3. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
5. Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
6. Knowledge of and an understanding of diagnostic categories, clinical presentation and treatment strategies for the populations served
7. Ability to effectively motivate and supervise staff.
8. Ability to work as a member of a larger team.
9. Ability to effectively utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other software to enhance work products and presentations.
