We are seeking a versatile Outing Coordinator/Receptionist who is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for our residents while maintaining a professional and welcoming front desk presence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and callers, providing a positive and professional impression of our community.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, directing them as needed and taking accurate messages.
- Greet residents, family members, guests, and staff warmly, assisting and directing them as required.
- Respond to resident emergency calls and alert appropriate staff.
- Support department directors with projects, reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Organize and manage schedules for medical appointments, local activities, and personalized opportunities for social engagement.
- Coordinate transportation for residents, ensuring safe travel, preparedness, and timely arrival.
- Accompany residents to community and health-related appointments, ensuring their safety and assisting with any communication or updates to service plans.
- Assist residents in connecting with community resources, services, and opportunities for engagement, including religious, vocational, or volunteer activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a receptionist, customer service, or activity coordination role preferred.
- Prior experience in a senior living environment is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
