Pro Shop Attendant

River Ridge Golf & Camping Club is looking for a Pro Shop Attendant to work at our 9-hole Golf Club & Driving Range.

Essential Functions: include but are not limited to:

• Greet golf course members and guests entering the Pro Shop.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and adhere to all associated requirements.
• Restock Pro Shop merchandise as necessary.
• Responsible for completing sales transactions using Clover POS system.
• Promote sale of Pro Shop merchandise to customers.
• Open / Close Pro Shop according to established procedures.
• Maintain an accurate cash count in register and make daily deposit.
• Present professional and courteous phone etiquette.
• Clean golf carts after each use and return to staging area.
• Fill range ball buckets and keep cabinet stocked in Prop Shop.
• Keep clean golf carts available for customers and return clean carts to storage shed at completion of day.
• Clean around Pro Shop and driving range.
• Assist with special golf events and tournaments.
• During slow periods spend time cleaning and maintaining all aspects of the Pro Shop.
• Restock soft drink coolers as needed during shift.
• Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Seek to become familiar and keep up to date with golf course operations.
• Adhere to company standards set forth in Employee Handbook.
• Maintain complete and accurate golf course records.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality standards.
• Treat customers and coworkers with respect and exhibit professionalism towards all.
• Willing to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promotes golf course to public and RR residents.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent Customer Service
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Basic mathematical skills
• Knowledge of game of golf, rules and tournament formats (desired)
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

License Certifications: Valid Driver's License (Required)

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week

• Morning shift

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
