We seek an experienced and hard-working Registered Dietitian (RD ) with long-term care experience to join our team. The Dietician will assist in assessing individual nutritional needs, implementing dietary prescriptions, and providing feedback on nutrition therapy acceptance and tolerance.
Registered Dietician Responsibilities :
The Dietician must follow the facility’s guidelines to ensure medical and nutritional therapy is assessed, implemented, and monitored for all residents by physician orders, resident care plans, and appropriate regulations
Registered Dietician (RD) Qualifications :
- Initiate nutritional assessments within 24 hours with timely completion after that
- Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Handle staff development functions; provide in-service education for all staff on resident nutritional status and facility practices.
- Knowledgeable with and adhere to federal / state / company regulations
- RD certifications or licensure required by the state
