River Ridge Rehab is looking for an HR Professional to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing Human Resources (HR) and Payroll functions within the facility following company standards and procedures and applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Maintain payroll files and assist in solving payroll problems as necessary. Provide the attention needed to staff retention and development.
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Human Resources and Payroll functions and activities within a facility.
Maintain personnel files in compliance with company standards and state and federal guidelines.
Assist department heads in developing and implementing programs designated to improve staff retention.
Ensure proper hiring/ procedures comply with company standards and policies and applicable state and federal guidelines, with assistance from Corporate H.R. Director.
Orient new personnel to the facility and explain personnel policies and procedures, payroll procedures, regulations, etc., as established by applicable standards and practices.
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel and other departments within the facility to assure that Human Resources and Payroll services and activities meet the facility's needs.
Perform data input (e.g., new hires, changes, terminations, missed punches, P.T.O. hours, etc.) into the time clock system; make necessary changes.
Review and make corrections to the time system to generate payroll system reports; review reports with department heads on a daily and weekly basis and present to Administrator for signature.
Maintain worker's compensation programs, files, and reports as directed.
Assist in preparing and submitting injury claims for employees. Follows through with employee and third-party Administrator until the employee is released to duty.
Ensure the timely and accurate enrollment of employees in the health benefit programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
A.A.S in human resources or related fields, with a bachelor's in HR preferred.
2-year H.R. experience in a healthcare setting
