Job Summary
Supports the team through servicing existing clients and distribution partners. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for assigned clients, supporting the Director, Client Development and Chief Business Development Officer, and working closely with portfolio managers and various departments to coordinate sales and client support activities.

Location: Louisville, KY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-office Monday– Thursday; Remote Friday)
Status: Full-time
A Typical Day Involves:
Client Service & Relationship Management:
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships across all of River Road’s investment strategies
  • Ensure timely and high-quality client communication, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
  • Oversee the new client onboarding process with precision and efficiency
  • Monitor and manage the firm’s Client Service mailbox, ensuring quick and accurate responses
Internal Coordination & Support:
  • Write, review, and edit client communications with clarity and professionalism
  • Proactively coordinate meetings, ensuring seamless collaboration and preparedness
  • Act as a strategic link between Business Development and internal departments
What We Are Looking For:
Knowledge:
  • Foundational knowledge of the asset management industry
  • Strong knowledge of, and demonstrated appreciation for, RRAM’s Investment Business Groups’ (IBGs) investment strategies, individual department functions, and established Organizational Beliefs
  • Strong knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of each Business Support Group (BSG)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Satuit, and other software and systems specific to the department
  • Working knowledge across multiple video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex)
  • Strong understanding of, and commitment to, firm culture

Education, Credentials & Attributes:
  • Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required (related field preferred)
  • Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
  • Passion and strong desire to enhance knowledge of capital markets and the asset management industry
  • Depending upon the credentials and experience of candidates who apply for this role, we will either hire an individual who is qualified as a coordinator (more entry level) or a specialist. A specialist has additional years of experience and would be eligible for a higher starting base salary.
