Staff Pharmacist: Retail & Compounding
The following is an overview of responsibilities for a staff pharmacist at River Road Health Mart Pharmacy.

The pharmacy environment is fast paced, but not overwhelming, and equipped with the resources and technology you need to succeed practicing at the top of your license. We have plenty of staff to assist with your daily responsibilities.
This is also an exciting opportunity to work with our compounding department at River Road Health Mart Pharmacy.
This position will provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs and maintaining controlled medication with required documentation.
You will maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies, local, state and federal guidelines.
A good candidate will adapt to a patient base from a myriad of backgrounds and medical concerns, removing barriers for all patients to be healthier and happier.
Looking for someone who can be accurate and consistent in all areas of patient care, from counseling patients to processing prescriptions.
Administering immunizations and assisting with compounding prescriptions is a vital part of our daily practice.
Providing guidance to the pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches, including techniques to make sure concerns are successfully resolved is a high priority.
Using tools, data and personal conversations to understand your community and common concerns are important when working for an independent pharmacy. Staying up to date on emergent and urgent health issues are also key.
Benefits: This position earns a competitive pay of $65.00 per hour.

Hours of operation are a definite benefit! We are open 9am -6pm Monday through Friday. We are closed weekends and major holidays.
